Fuel forecourt
PSO petrol and diesel pumps serving traffic in both directions on Murree Road.
Ongoing project · Rawalpindi
A modern service station planned for Murree Road, just off Faizabad Interchange, where the main road from Islamabad enters Rawalpindi. Acting for the landowners, R. C. Services is negotiating with Pakistan State Oil (PSO) to lease the site and run it as a full-service stop with fuel, EV charging, a shop and restaurants.
Planned facilities
PSO petrol and diesel pumps serving traffic in both directions on Murree Road.
Dedicated charging bays for electric vehicles, ready for the growing number on the road.
A convenience store for drivers, commuters and passengers using the nearby bus terminals.
On-site restaurants. The number of outlets is still to be confirmed.
The location
The interchange joins Islamabad Expressway, Murree Road and Karnal Sher Khan Shaheed Road. It is one of the main entry and exit points for both Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
The site sits on Murree Road where it leaves the interchange, so traffic heading into Rawalpindi passes the entrance.
Faizabad is a stop on the Metrobus Red Line between Saddar and the Pak Secretariat, bringing steady foot traffic across the road.
The Daewoo Express and Faisal Movers Faizabad terminals are a short walk away, with coaches and passengers coming and going all day.
The Capital Development Authority has decided to redesign and expand the whole interchange to handle more traffic.2
